Bob Nanna’s next excursion under under The City On Film handle,
once again brings in a full band to back him up, including support
from members of MINUS THE BEAR, as well as a dog and some broken bottles.
The course of the six varied, flowing songs, bookended by the mirrored
tracks, “Mary, I'm Ready” and “Conclusion,”
proves more definitively than ever before Nanna’s songwriting
prowess, as it melds infectious pop melody, dreamy introspection,
and even a bit of country stomp through different tracks.
