>> SUMMER SALE!
We have quite the Summer Sale going on, everyone! As you can see at the No Karma storefront, Redder titles are all super-reduced so that you can own them – HOLD them! – for less than an online download. Redder t-shirts, even, are only 5 United States dollars. Though slightly slower, we must all remember that mailorder is fun! You know that feeling of anticipation that comes as soon as you click the final button, then grows daily as you check the mailbox? It's a nice one, but you won't wait long, because the No Karma folk are like lightning. Stock up for your future and buy a present for your friend Sally!

We can all see it's been a sleepy year for Redder Records' output of aural wonders, but picking up the records you may have missed for super cheap could just hold you over until we unveil what else is coming for you soon. Don't be afraid, all! New surprises await, and they are high on pleasure yet low on pain

Hello, friends, and welcome to another edition of “Redder News!” -- note the exclamation point, as it is quite the trendy punctuation to put in names of things, signifying that the title should be shouted. We thought to call it “Redder News! On the Internet” -- but that doesn't make any sense, because you don't put exclamation points in the middle of phrases. Then we thought, “???” (pronounced “What What What,” or any three question words you choose) is a brilliant title, but apparently a fine group has done something like that already. But the news is the meat of our vegan platter here, folks, and that's what really matters. Here:

>> BLING KONG
BLING KONG is in action, as always, with a tour featuring their exponentially increasing level on fun-itude. They are cranking out the jams in such a spectacularly epic way, it's almost as if they could just put “Awesome” in their album title! In these select cities, the audience will be able to manipulate the outcome of the set with BK's “Choose Your Own Misadventure” rock opera, tracing the lives of protagonists Snake Dawg and Baby Blue. Genius!

Also, head on over to heavy.com to witness the new video (http://www.heavy.com/video/7142 ) for their CONTRABAND contest, showing the BK kids in fine form being loved-on by photographers!

>> THE CITY ON FILM
Mr. Bob Nanna has just exited a studio in Seattle with 35 hot new songs in the bag! Mysterious!

>> KALPANA
KALPANA will be making their first 2007 appearance on March 21st with CJ BOYD, EXTRA LIFE, and Temporary Residence's own BY THE END OF TONIGHT at the Cake Shop on 152 Ludlow in NYC. A handful of new compositions fleshing out in apartments and rehearsal

>> KIND OF LIKE SPITTING
Mr. Ben Barnett has laid down the KOLS title, with no plans to tour or record. He has said, “I will always play guitar, I will most likely start a new band,” so we can all be hopeful for the future. For now Ben will be focusing on his day-to-day, but he often checks on the band's Myspace page, so head over there and send your love. (myspace.com/wehaveacrushonamygoodman)

>> SATURDAY LOOKS GOOD TO ME
SLGTM has a couple new things for you – first off is a one-sided, super-limited vinyl record! We know you want that! The Green Mountain EP on Ypsilanti Records, about 23 minutes of new SLGTM to tide you over until the LP drops, will pretty much only be available on their current tour. Of the EP, Mr. Fred Thomas says, “Four track only with a heavy 'first thought best thought' vibe. Beautiful tiny sounds was the idea, and trying to have as low-tech of a sound as was attainable. The master tape (as it were) is a super crusty cassette that I found on the ground by the Walgreens down the street from my house.” Low-fi glory! Make sure to dig them around the nation.

Also, if you haven't checked it out already, an early version of “Apple,” a song from the forthcoming LP, “Fill Up the Room,” is available on the band's Myspace page. (myspace.com/saturdaylooksgoodtome)

>> TINY AMPS
What is it with Myspace this time around? It seems to be all the rage these days. The Tiny Amps have posted three brand new demos up on their page! You may have caught “Punches,”  “Pegleg,” and “BooDoo” at some of their recent Boston-area gigs -- these songs are truly GUITAR INTENSITY! Rock and roll, pure and true. Listen. Quick!
